Kinesiological Assessment

Kinesiological assessment is the cornerstone of modern physiotherapy and movement diagnostics.

It represents a thorough examination of the entire musculoskeletal system that helps reveal the causes of pain, movement limitations or muscle imbalances — before they develop into chronic problems.

As part of the kinesiological assessment, an experienced physiotherapist examines you in detail — observing posture, movement patterns, the condition of muscles, joints and ligaments, and looking for hidden connections that may be behind your back pain, cervical spine issues, joint problems or recurring blockages.

Based on the examination results, the therapist discusses with you where the problem originates, what is maintaining it and how best to address it. Part of the assessment is a proposal for an individual therapy plan: this may include suitable exercises, adjustment of movement habits, physiotherapy techniques, kinesiotaping or a referral for further specialist care.

Before & After

What are the benefits of kinesiological assessment

  • The main advantage is that the assessment reveals hidden connections that you would hardly discover on your own — such as poor posture, muscle imbalances, shortened or weakened muscles, or incorrect movement habits that chronically overload the spine, joints, and tendons.
  • Another great plus is that the assessment does not stop at a diagnosis — you immediately receive a practical plan of what specifically to change or strengthen.
  • The physiotherapist will recommend customised exercises, adjustments to your sitting position, posture, and movement at work or during sport.
  • The advantage is also that the assessment helps prevent recurring pain and blockages — it identifies even minor deviations that could eventually develop into chronic problems.
  • Kinesiological assessment is ideal for athletes who want to improve technique, support performance, and reduce the risk of injury. It is equally helpful for people after injuries, surgeries, or those with unilateral strain from their occupation.
  • A major benefit is that everything takes place gently, painlessly, and with a human approach, so you learn what your body needs without having to undergo unnecessary invasive procedures.

Často kladené otázky

How long does the procedure take and is it painful?

The procedure usually takes 30 to 60 minutes and is performed in completely comfortable conditions. We apply a numbing cream before the treatment, so you only feel minimal discomfort.

When will I see the first results?

You will usually notice the first improvement within a few days to weeks after the initial treatment. For optimal results, we recommend a series of sessions according to an individual plan.

What is the cost and how many sessions will I need?

The exact number of treatments and total cost are determined after an initial consultation with our specialist. Typically, it involves 3–6 sessions at intervals of several weeks.

Are there any risks or contraindications?

The procedure is among the safest methods. Before the first treatment, we will discuss your health condition and evaluate any contraindications. Slight redness at the injection site is common and subsides quickly.
