How does otoplasty work?

The procedure usually takes 60 to 90 minutes. The incision is made on the back of the ear or in its natural fold, so the resulting scar is almost invisible.

The wound is then sutured with fine stitches and the ear is fixed with a bandage.
After a week, you can usually return to your normal activities, but it is advisable to postpone sports or more physical activity for a few weeks.
The resulting shape of the ears is visible immediately after removal of the bandage and remains permanent.
