How does breast reduction work?

- The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia, takes about 2.5 to 3.5 hours and is associated with a one-day hospital stay. During the surgery, excess tissue is removed, the breast gland is firmed and the breasts are sculpted into a higher, younger position. It also includes displacement of the areolae to give a natural and aesthetic overall result.
- After the procedure, it is recommended to rest, wear a special bra and limit physical exertion for several weeks.
