How does the procedure work?

  • At the first visit, the doctor will discuss your wishes, difficulties and expectations with you. Using digital visualization, we will show you the possible results and suggest the appropriate type of procedure - whether it is a nose reshaping, tip, dorsum or simultaneous correction of the nasal septum.
  • The operation is performed under general anaesthesia and takes approximately 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the extent of the modifications. Depending on the type of problem, we choose open or closed technique.
  • At the Medical Institute we provide not only the procedure itself, but also careful post-operative care including regular check-ups, recommendations for healing and long-term follow-up.
  • The first changes are noticeable after the splint is removed, but the final result is visible only after full healing - usually in 6 to 12 months. During this time, the shape of the nose is still being fine-tuned and the swelling gradually subsides.
