Local or general anesthesia?

  • Labioplasty is performed under both local and general anaesthesia - the choice depends on the client's wishes, the extent of the procedure and the doctor's recommendation.
  • Smaller procedures can be comfortably performed on an outpatient basis under local anaesthesia.
  • For more extensive corrections or if the client is more sensitive, we recommend short-term general anaesthesia.
  • Both options are safe, well tolerated and allow you to return home on the same day.

How does labioplasty work?

  • The procedure is preceded by a discreet and open consultation, during which you discuss your wishes, expectations and health condition with the doctor.
  • The doctor will suggest the optimal shape and technique and explain the procedure.
  • The operation itself takes approximately 45-90 minutes.
  • After the procedure, it is necessary to observe a resting regime, avoid sports and sexual intercourse for about 4-6 weeks.
  • Swelling and tenderness gradually subside over a period of days to weeks.
