Physiotherapy

Modern methods for pain relief, regeneration and improved healing

Physiotherapy is not just about rehabilitation after injuries. In modern medicine, it is a key part of treating musculoskeletal pain, promoting healing and speeding up recovery.

At the Medical Institute, we work with advanced physical methods that are effective, safe and suitable for clients who want to avoid surgery or shorten recovery time.

The most effective physiotherapy methods used in orthopaedics and rehabilitation include CO₂ gas injections (carboxytherapy) and radial shock wave.

We can effectively address pain and stiffness in the musculoskeletal system

Muscle, tendon and joint pain is often caused not only by injuries, but also by chronic overloading, incorrect posture or inflammatory processes. If the problem is not addressed in time, it leads to stiffening of the tissues, limitation of mobility and impaired quality of life.
At the Medical Institute, we use methods that stimulate the body's natural regenerative mechanisms without the need to interfere with the tissue structure.

What physiotherapy methods do we use?

CO₂ gas injections (carboxytherapy)

Carboxytherapy is a proven method in which a small amount of medical grade carbon dioxide is gently injected into the subcutaneous tissue. The gas causes immediate dilation of capillaries, improved microcirculation and increased oxygen supply to the tissues. The result is accelerated healing, reduced inflammation, reduced swelling and improved metabolism in the affected area. The treatment is almost painless, takes place on an outpatient basis and takes only a few minutes.

Radial shock wave

The shock wave causes mechanical pulses to the affected area. Thus, it agitates hardening, improves blood circulation and stimulates regeneration of tendons, muscles and ligaments. It effectively helps with heel pain (plantar fasciitis), tennis elbow, tendonitis, shoulder calcifications or hip and back pain. The advantage of this method is the rapid onset of action and the possibility of returning to normal activity without the need for disability.

Who is physiotherapy suitable for?

  • For patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain
  • For pain caused by inflammation of tendons and tendon tendons
  • When overloading after sports or repeated unilateral load
  • As an adjunct to treatment after orthopaedic procedures or injuries
  • For patients looking for a gentle solution without surgery and drugs

How is the treatment performed?

  • Each treatment is preceded by a consultation with a specialist who assesses the condition of the tissues, the location of the problem and recommends the most appropriate method.
  • The procedures are outpatient, last only a few minutes and require no recovery.
  • Both methods can be combined to achieve a stronger effect (chronic inflammation, hardening or painful blocks).

Before and after

  • Physiotherapy with modern methods significantly reduces the healing time, improves the quality of movement and reduces the need for analgesics.
  • After treatment, pain is relieved, mobility is improved and overall stiffness is relieved.
  • The effect often appears after the first treatment and continues to increase over the following days and weeks.
