Earlobe Correction

Earlobe correction – a gentle procedure for a natural appearance

A torn earlobe or excessive stretching from heavy earrings or piercings are the most common reasons for a minor surgical procedure in which the doctor sutures the ear hole and corrects its size and shape. The procedure is suitable for anyone whose earring hole or entire earlobe has been damaged by some mechanism. Most commonly, this happens when an earring is pulled out during dressing or careless brushing.

If you have a larger hole in the lobe from a tunnel, it is not possible to simply suture it, as an asymmetrical triangle would form. It is necessary to remove the stretched part and then suture the parts together. In the case of a torn earring, the wound is simply sutured.

Before & After

  • Earlobe correction is a minor but highly effective procedure that helps restore the natural shape of the ear and returns its symmetry and firmness.
  • It is most commonly sought by people with a torn earlobe after an earring injury, a significantly stretched piercing hole from heavy jewellery, or clients who previously wore tunnels and now wish to refine the appearance of their ear.
  • One of the greatest advantages is the speed and simplicity of the procedure. It is performed on an outpatient basis under local anaesthesia, with no hospitalisation or sick leave required.
  • The entire procedure takes approximately 20–30 minutes, and recovery is very quick — with no significant swelling or pain.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the procedure take and is it painful?

The procedure usually takes 30 to 60 minutes and is performed in completely comfortable conditions. We apply a numbing cream before the treatment, so you only feel minimal discomfort.

When will I see the first results?

You will usually notice the first improvement within a few days to weeks after the initial treatment. For optimal results, we recommend a series of sessions according to an individual plan.

What is the cost and how many sessions will I need?

The exact number of treatments and total cost are determined after an initial consultation with our specialist. Typically, it involves 3–6 sessions at intervals of several weeks.

Are there any risks or contraindications?

The procedure is among the safest methods. Before the first treatment, we will discuss your health condition and evaluate any contraindications. Slight redness at the injection site is common and subsides quickly.
